Sleep Anxiety
Sleep anxiety disorders are one of the main reasons that people suffer from short term, as well as long term insomnia. It occurs when the patient feels anxiety within their brain and it can manifest as physical symptoms like insomnia. There are many stresses within everyday life that can contribute to sleep anxiety. Something as simple as stressing about finances and other aspects of life can jolt you awake through the night and keep you from getting the rest that you require in order to function at 100%.

To avoid sleep anxiety, be sure to check your stress at the door of the bedroom. The bedroom should be a sanctuary in which stress should be left outside of. Don’t allow the stress to build up through the day and then effect you at night, deal with the stress as it occurs and ensure that the stress that you feel is relieved through alternative treatments, before bed.
