This is because the tension within the body increases and a rise in blood pressure occurs as the patient begins to panic. This is one of the first panic attack symptoms which most patients experience.
Upon the onset of the panic attack there are many patients that experience a shaking of the body or an overall sense of nervousness. This sense of nervousness and shaking can be also associated with nervousness and therefore can begin from the inside causing many patients that suffer from panic attacks to be able to feel the attack before the actual onset.

There are many other symptoms that can be associated with the onset of a panic attack and these symptoms can be different for every patient that experiences the high level of anxiety. Some patients are unable to breathe and others may break out into a sweat while others can have cold shivers which are associated with the onset of a panic attack.
Since the symptoms are different for every single person, the coping methods that are used are also going to differ. These coping methods are going to range from breathing deeply, to the use of medication to control the symptoms which are associated with the attack and reduce the effect on the body.
