Categorized in different forms,depression is detrimental for the health which leads to a number of several physical and emotional abnormalities as well.Manic depression is a serious stage where proper medication and diagnosis of symptoms should be done with adequate care. It is the state of psychological disorder when a patient feel extreme mood swings ranging from overly high or manic stages to overly low or depressed stages.

Better known as bipolar disorder, manic depression affects badly on the brain of a person. He/she usually experiences mood alternation between the poles. In this disorder, a person goes through a series of changes that alters the person’s mood, energy and ability to function normally. Patients suffering from bipolar disorder are known as manic-depressive. Consequences of the disease get activated from the early age in both men and women. Teens also face symptoms of manic depression quite often. 

Interestingly,manic depression has no genetic link with a person and it usually happen with external factors such as trauma, anxiety, worries and such others. The disease can devastate the life of a depressed person and simultaneously put a serious negative impact on the lives of close relatives and friends. 

Talking about the symptoms of manic depression, it is important to know that the disorder happens on the basis of manic or depressive episodes. Usually, there are different stages of the manic depressive disorders that can be diagnosed in elevated moods. The problem persists more than weeks and can stay for a longer period of time as well. 

The treatment for manic depression includes the required amount of water and adequate sleep with regular medication.
