Insomnia Symptoms
There is one major symptom of insomnia that most patients suffer from - being unable to fall asleep after going to bed or simply being unable to remain asleep through the full course of the night.
Insomnia can strike at two pivotal points through the night and lead to the patient being unable to sleep. It can affect the patient through the course of trying to fall asleep and in this case the patient may have trouble falling asleep. The second type of insomnia can affect the patient is the fact that the insomnia may cause the patient to awake during the night and become unable to fall asleep. The patient may become restless through the entire night and therefore it can be impossible to gain a well rested night’s sleep.
How does insomnia affect the patient after the symptoms have only been present for a few days? Even if insomnia is present only for a few days it can greatly affect the patient. Sleep deprivation can even occur after one to two nights of being unable to gain a full night’s sleep. The patient may suffer from a lack of concentration and irritability that can occur through the day.
These are some of the common symptoms of insomnia that can begin to affect the body quickly, in as little as a couple of days. Therefore, it is important to seek help if the insomnia lasts for more than a couple of days.
