Anxiety Book
Should you keep an anxiety book? Anxiety books are an effective way to reduce the symptoms which are felt by individuals experiencing bouts of anxiety on a regular basis.
How should you begin keeping an anxiety book? An anxiety book can be kept on a daily basis, on a weekly basis or even on a basis of when the anxiety attacks are experienced. It can be helpful to create notes that can assist in identifying the triggers which are associated with an anxiety attack; therefore, the patient can learn these triggers and reduce the triggers that the patient is exposing themselves to.
What should you note within the anxiety book once triggers have been identified and a panic or anxiety attack is being experienced? It can be helpful to note the events leading up to the anxiety attack, how long the attack lasted and how quickly the onset of the anxiety attack occurred. In the case that different symptoms are experienced each time an anxiety attack is suffered from, it can be helpful to note the symptoms that have accompanied this anxiety attack.
By noting the situations that the anxiety attack may have occurred in, it can determine the triggers which are causing the anxiety attacks in the patient. Identifying these triggers through the use of an anxiety book can reduce the overall attacks that are experienced.
